Come join us at our first of 2 work-parties to get this next stage of our Outdoor Learning Space underway! We'll be fabricating 20-25 wood benches at Arborscape in Vancouver, working in two shifts: 10a to 12p and 12p to 2p. The Building Team will be lifting, cutting, and drilling, while the Finishing Team will be sanding and finishing the benches. All tools and light snacks & drinks will be provided, but we suggest bringing work gloves, water, and extra snacks. (Also, if you have an extra belt sander, please bring it!) Please sign up for a shift on the volunteer sign up sheet. All volunteers will be required to sign a release of liability in order to participate. We will have the waivers available for you to sign at Arborscape. Volunteers can be adults and high school students (anyone under the age of 18 requires a parent's signature).
