Over the past 2 years the Harney Elementary PTO has worked in collaboration with nature+play designs, community volunteers, and Harney students, families and staff members to develop an Outdoor Learning Space on our school grounds. As construction nears completion, we're hosting a Kick-off Celebration and Summer Safety Fair open to the greater community, on Saturday May 20th, from 1:00 - 4:00pm, on the Harney grounds.

We'll have activities for the kids including a Home Depot Project Zone, bicycle safety rodeo with Bike Clark County (be sure to bring your bike!), and visits from AMR and The Red Cross with some helpful safety tips for the parents, including a personalized child ID card-making station. Food and drinks from Megan's Snack Shack will be available for purchase, and kids can earn a raffle ticket for prizes - including new bicylces!
